The truffle has arrived in the USA

This is exciting. Top-quality black truffles have now been successfully grown in the USA; specifically, in Eastern Tennessee.

A typical "progressive"

Read this:

Know this, future ex-boyfriends of mine

Notice the following:

1. The contempt for Jewish people ("I thought he was just Jewish")
2. The solidarity with "Palestinians" in spite of their revolting ideology
3. The expression that she, unlike others, is "enlightened"
4. The fervent belief that she is so special that she can be the savior of the world
5. The knowledge that dating her is a special privilege that others should be elightened by
6. The racist contempt for "white" people
7. The hatred for America ("The American flag is like kryptonite to me. I refuse to wave it, and much less salute it. It represents a state which serves and protects only the interests of the powerful.")
8. The naked hypocrisy ("And I say [anarchist] 'tendencies' because it's something I struggle with. I have a disdain for states, so why do I still want the Palestinians to have one?)
9. The lack of criticism for anything in Islam

Snotty, snide, abusive, pompous, racist, sexist, self-important, self-indulgent, whiny, and humorless. These are the qualities of so many "progressives" today.

old, but good-

Jimmy hadn't seen this, so I'm posting it:

Guinea Pig Kids

In a sane liberal society, this story would be huge. But we're not talking about sanity; we're talking about AIDS, which is a religion, and thus outside the realm of facts and reason.

There is an orphanage in New York City (Harlem) called the Incarnation Children's Center (ICC). Ostensibly, it serves to house children who are orphaned and in the charge of New York's Agency for Child Services (ACS). Rudy Guiliani, as it turns out, empowered ACS to be able to seize children from their parents, terminating their parental rights, without a court order. Often these children end up at ICC for "medical care". And those scare quotes indicate that what has actually been happening is that these children have been used as human guinea pigs in experimental HIV drug trials.

This came to light when Liam Scheff, a subversive leftist reporter and AIDS-establishment enemy, posed as a member of the establishment and published The House that AIDS Built which describes in lurid detail with shocking photographs the children with tubes installed in their stomachs so that they can be forced to take the drugs that are killing them.

Jamie Doran then made a short movie about ICC called "Guinea Pig Kids". This movie has aired on the BBC. A movie like this can not air in America, since the press refuses to report dissenting facts in regards to the HIV/AIDS theory. But you can see the movie on-line now.

Mexifornia: Five Years Later

Five years ago, the scintillating Victor Davis Hanson wrote a book called Mexifornia: A State of Becoming. The purpose of the book was to examine the levels of illegal immigration from Mexico and the effects of such an influx on the culture of California.

Hanson has written a follow-up to this book and noted how the debate regarding illegal immigration has changed and done so notably in response to the fact that his predictions in the book have come true and turned out worse than he had imagined.
